Very nice contour gauge, I have had the ones with the round wires however the wires get bent with use and storage, and it becomes a pain to use afterwards.?

I had seen these on as seen on TV in the past but I just started putting tile in my concrete floor basement and with all of the thresholds, plumbing, and nooks and crannies this thing saved so much time. I have a fair number of tools but next time I help a friend with any flooring or trim I am so bringing this along.

Product will do exactly as expected. I am installing vinyl flooring in my basement and am planning on using this to mark all of the odd cuts on the flooring prior to cutting such as the columns. This contour gauge seems well built and the lock feature works well. I have yet to use if for it's intended purpose, but I have played with it around the house.

Where has this tool been my whole life. It would have saved us countless hours on all the floors we have replaced and all the moldings we have ever dealt with. You would be crazy if you passed up on this little gem. It works like a charm and it is sooo easy to use. I highly recommend because it's so easy to use - even our kids had it figured out in a split second. Don't worry - you will need this tool if you like to do your own repairs, rebuilds or installations. LOVE IT!!

Used this to measure a wall for cutting tile. Works pretty well and is really easy to use. The only small complaint I have is that you have to micromanage the teeth a bit to make them sit flush and it can be a problem if you are not paying attention but overall it is better than the old fashioned way. You can butt it up against another piece to get the correct depth also which is great.

I am going to like not having to measure all the different angles of wood. I can just push it up against the area I need to make the cuts, set it ,trace it ,then cut to fit. Easy Peasy! I told my daughter n laws father about this device and he admitted he had one and used it when he had tougher angles to measure and wanted to speed up his job.

Just finished retiling my fireplace with rought cut stone veener tiling. Needed something to be able to cut my baseboard to match the uneven texture of the stone. It was the last part needed to finish of my living room remodel. As soon as it arrived, I put it to work, and it did a fine job. My only concern is the very small allen wrench needed to tighten the fins. On board storage would be nice so it does not get lost in my shed disaster.

i bought a similar tool like this, but it did not have the locking lever or adjustable nature of this one. Those small features make a load of difference. It comes very delicate, so the locking level was appreciated. I have not had to use provided wrench to change tightness. I have used for all sorts of projects around the house, mainly for tight or unique spaces. Highly recommended!

I have been working on interior molding, which is generally terrible, and this helps to much. I am upset I did not buy it for the floor. I have a construction background, so I am able to scribe and precision cut pretty well, but this speeds things up greatly. It game pre-adjusted and seems sturdy. No complaints, I will update if needed.

I bought this for my husband because under my kitchen sink our kitchen guy left a huge opening behind pipes. How in the world can he fix this (the large opening allows in bitter cold air and I am afraid a creepy mouse might perhaps come through it!) I saw this gadget and think it will definitely make the job easy now (no excuses) to create a template around the pipes, cut out a thin piece of wood and close up that large opening.

This tool is a life saver - the old way of trying to get a complete scale of the cuts - gone. The takes the contour of whatever shape and allows you to easily mark the cuts. The kids like to too - facial contours. I have used it in cutting flooring, baseboard, window stock and circle cuts. Works every time.

I had never installed flooring and thought I should try this tool to assist around doorways, walls etc. So easy to use and provides exact contours to ease the process of fitting flooring. If you are going to install flooring, I suggest you make it as easy as possible and use this tool.
